OMG!! She makes me wanna run to the hair store and buy a wig ASAP. LOL.Teyanna attended the Louis Vuitton Beverly Center  re-opening, last night, amongst other stars such as Lance Gross and Lil Mama. The hair is EVERYTHING. I am noticing a trend with purple highlights but I’ve never seen them worn like this.#Hot

She posed  with the host of the event, Matt Kemp. Is it just me or does Teyanna and Matt Kemp make a cute couple? I’m just now noticing how charming he looks; never noticed it before. I always wondered ‘What’s the big deal?’

My favorite natural was looking nothing short of AMAZING on May 21st at the Range Rover Envogue Live Event  in New York City where she showed off her DJing skills. Is it just me or is she looking better and better?

The Spring/Summer trends are 70′s inspired bringing back fringes, wedges, and tribal infused patterns. Not only can you incorporate these trends in your stylish attire but you can get creative and incorporate them in your manicures.

Vogue Italia published a tribute to black beauties as their most recent spread. Models, Jeneil Williams, Cici Ali, Ubah Hassan, Gayle McDonald, Kelly Moreira, Jae Childs, R’el Dade, Jasmine Tookas, Lily Taylor, and Ariel Meredith collaborated for the spread. What I found most intriguing about the tribute was this wonderfully written article  by Claire Sulmers, Editor and Cheif of Fashionbombdaily.com. The above picture shows the article as written in the publication but I have the english version below.

‘With bright eyes peering out under deliciously curled lashes, cheekbones and jawbones contoured as if chiseled from sharp stone, full noses, and sumptuously lush lips, black women are unquestionably beautiful.

A tribute is due to the woman whose skin tone ranges from alabaster to mahogany to smooth onyx, who can flawlessly carry any makeup look—from gold dusted lids to fuchsia blush to ripe purple and pink glosses. These pages pay homage to the versatile woman whose hair can oscillate from a tightly coiled and coifed Afro, to sleek layers, to a slicked back pixie cut in a matter of minutes. To the divine woman whose enviably full lips, strong, white teeth, and delightful smile have been known to electrify the hearts of many. To the siren whose smooth, velvety skin blocks the sun yet remains supple and unblemished with the passage of time.

Variable and diverse, black beauty escapes simple classification. But no matter the incarnation—whether the color of molasses, café au lait, bronze, tan, or tinged like desert sand—black beauties radiate with poise and multidimensional splendor.’- Claire Sulmers

This weekend I brought a very romantic pink pastel colored dress to wear for my graduation and I thought to myself ‘A pair of nude patent platforms would compliment the look very well.’ These platformed shoes have been seen on almost every celebrity including, Rihanna, Beyonce, Selita Ebanks, Channel Iman and the list goes on. Above is the Christian Louboutin platforms which range from about $800 up.

You can find very similar looks that are, in fact, just as cute for a way more affordable price.  You can find this look in Steve Madden (left picture) which cost you $90 at Nordstrom and in the Jessica Simpson brand that will cost you about $89.

I, who is forever on a budget, was walking the mall to see if I found a suitable pair and I spotted them at Charlotte Russe, displayed right in front of the store. I picked up a pair at Charlotte Russe for only $30 and believe you me, it looks absolutely stunning.  I am very happy with the overall look of my outfit and I think the shoes gives it an extra touch of sexy, style, and class.

My new favorite natural, Solange and fashion diva, Rih Rih looks amazing on the red carpet.  Rih Rih was recognized and honored for her work and dedication to the fight against Leukemia. They both look gorgeous and Solange is working that blowout and draped dress.

Celebrity stylist, June Ambrose, has been generating alot of buzz with the debut of her very own turban line. Since many admire her fierce personal style and marvel over her intricately styled turbans she has earned the title of the ultimate Turbanista. Now I must add that  I was a little startled by the starting price of $125 and up.  Yup, it’ll cost you over a hundred bucks to wear June Ambrose’s signature look .

Jennifer Hudson and Rihanna wore two very similar looks this weekend but each were individually tweeked. The color scheme of army green, brown, and black were consistant with both oufits and a fedora hat finished the look. Jennifer Hudson added in some floral and strappy heels  to give her look a romancy, fun, feminine feel. Rihanna did quite the opposite with a army camouflaged jacket, cut off jeans shorts  and black tank top adorned with a  golden gun necklace for a rugged bad girl look, which is what we’ve come to expect and adore from miss good girl gone bad.

Solange is apparently on her grind. Lovin her more and more. Her style= Original Fierceless Boho Chic.

She wore this little peice for her performance which looks like it was a banger. If you can’t appreciate her sense of style, you can most definately appreciate originality and her hustle mode.#On point
